Ive got the spec 3F with billit flywheel, supposed to be good for over 900hp. It uses a full disk where as the standard stage 3 uses pucks. DOnt have the car back on the road but I am hoping it will be a nice unit.

Seems to be a lot of good and bad comments on all clutches your just going to have pull the trigger. Personally the shop I deal with has done hundreds of spec installs and have never had a problem with any of them. In the end the relationship my shop has with spec is why I chose a spec clutch.

Amazing all the different experiences with the same clutchs. I had a carbon Spec stage 3 clutch in one of my other cars and it held up to 600+rwhp fine. Once I had a Centerforce DF that didnt make it 5 months with half the hp going through it. Makes you wonder if its the different driving styles of people or horrible product quality control.

It looks like I have fried my Centerforce DF too - I'll take the blame but going to replace it most likely with a RAM, now if the RAM doesn't hold up - well I truly am a "clutch buster"...

I am in debate now over the Spec III or the RAMIII both about the same price with the Steel Flywheel...

How's the Spec 3 for streetability? Such as driving in traffic, and not grabbing too hard?

As long as you're a little careful will it be ok? I want my mom to be able to drive the car. I'm going to have her break in my clutch, nice and easy.

I've heard that Spec Clutchs chatter on 1st gear or reverse.

Is that true??
