I recently installed some NGK TR6 Iridium plugs on my 03 cobra before I went to get it tuned. I gapped the plugs at .032 and it has been idling funny ever since. It keeps moving the rpm's 800-1k. Before I put the NGK's in the car idled fine and was steady at 800 rpm's. Any input as what to do? Thanks.

also would like to know. I think the gap needs to change to like .036 or something... I think...

Ya I was thinking to move the gap up to .034, but I'll see what some other people think first. I told the tuner I gapped the plugs at .032 and he didn't say anyhting was wrong with that.

I wouldn't expect .002 gap to correct that problem, you may have a bad plug, damaged electrode or coil issue. Pull all the plugs, exchange them for new ones. Gap should be .034-.036 for that boost, but be very careful when regapping platinum/iridium plugs, it's very easy to damage the tiny electrode.
