spacer question???

hi guy's
i own a '99+ GT and would like to add spacers to the rear wheels.
i have 18x10 wheels in the rear with 295-35-18 as tire.
is it a good idea to add spacers?
which kind?
how thick?
from where?
let see what u guy's have.
etc.......

you might get more responses if you post this question in another section! personally i would not add spacers to the back. it seems like you would be asking for problems.
