Any body have an efficient way to remove sound deadening from the interior? 99 cobra track car

Hammer and scraper is tedious and doesn’t really work

Tried 40 lbs of dry ice, actually waited until bottom of floor frosted over and went after it with a mallet. Removed approx 30% and dented the sh*t out of the floor. Still left a film too

Has to be an easier way...

Thinking heat gun and scraper, but as others have said usually just makes a bigger mess

Open to suggestions

its either heat it or freeze it, Freeze it is less messy, here is one way that seems to be better than dry ice.

I’ll look into it, that could be a better approach to the vertical surfaces like wheel wells

Updating this so no one else has to suffer....

Dry ice and alcohol just made a horrific mess.
Cold spray wasn’t cold enough apparently

The easiest thing I could come up with was using and oscillating tool with a scraper bit from Home Depot. Peeled up the big pieces

Then wire wheel on drill for the residue

All said, it is still a many hours under taking. No easy way
