I come from a heavy Chevy background.
I also have lately been on the Mopar side of things as well and have ALWAYS disliked Ford (IDK WHY just did...).
But anyway post 2011 Ford in general has taken a turn that I liked and so I finally after long debate and lots of I told you so's I'm making the switch and trading in my 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT (#1380 out of 5674 for 08-09 and #1299 out of 4658 for 2008) fully bolted and tuned with a big turbo swap making 410whp and 440tq on old upgraded stock turbo setup.

I have big plans for the 5.0 that I just ordered. Since I will miss boost, you better believe that I will boost it ASAP!

Here is my Garage queen as we speak (75% restored 1963 Chevy C-10)

Same here. I come from a GM family lol! You won't miss the SRT4 after a couple romps in the 5.0. And you can't beat the sound of a V8

welcome to the darkside lol jk your car looks nice What was the final straw that made you decide to get a 5.0?
ty, haha well decided that I was tired of no support from the only 2 vendors that work with the Caliber.. (btw totally different motor than Neon)
and since I was the test dummy for a lot of the performance things and received little to no valuable help, I had it..

currently as the caliber sits now.. Its almost 100% back to stock just waiting on the stock intercooler , armrest and turbo setup to be shipped back from people.

All in all on the part out I made $7.5k which $5k is my down payment on my 5.0
Dealer gave me $12.8k on car only owed $6k
got my 5.0 GHIG w/ track pack, security pack, and recaros for 32K otd so my payments are only going to be about $290-$310 at the 72 months. ( i like the longer months because I ALWAYS pay over)

But more because I was ready to move on to a more supported sturdy platform making good power to start!

a boss would be nice, but I wanted to build my own like my other cars vs having it built.. thats why I did base model... i knew I would change almost everything.. so no reason paying more.
