Problems happens when i get on the gas real hard. Whenever the car gets up to higher rpm range the car seems to stop making power. It almost seems like its a slipping clutch but it has a new clutch just recently put in. Anyone have any ideas?

Fuel filter, get it replaced.
What RPM's?
Was it doing this prior to the "new" clutch install?
Its got a new fuel filter tho. Usually seems to happen around 5-6k but it doesn' happen all the time. Just seems to lose its pull and then it gets it back.

If it comes on after its probably your clutch.
But if it was my clutch wouldn't the RPMs jump? The RPMs don't jump it just stops pulling. I always thought if the clutch slipped the RPMs jumped.
plugs..... maybe coil packs
My first thought was the IMRC valves but it seems too high of RPM's for that to be the problem. You also may want to check your alternator, to see if its putting out enough juice in the high rpms.
