and I quote:

Dealer Warranties
Under Federal Law, vehicle manufacturers, dealers or agents cannot void vehicle powertrain or emissions warranties due to the presence of a properly installed Kenne Bell product. If a warranty is denied, contact the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov. Additional information is available at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) website www.sema.org. Kenne Bell is a member of SEMA.

so that means the warranty is not voided? How is that possible?

Nearly all manufacturers put that on their website for good PR. It also helps to sell a product, not to mention excludes them from liability.

Trust me, if you went to court attempting to win a claim on your rods or pistons going south, and you had the KB on the car, you'd lose, and if you won, that just wouldn't be right.

Doesn't the manufacture have to pay for your lawyer also under that act? I know I guy that just had to fight GMC on his Yukon about a problem he had and they had to pay the lawyer and he said it was stipulated in the act.

If you had the money, you could fight them and make it interesting... mmmm if your car is a pre 11-02-02 build and the failure was in the #7-8 cylinder area.....

they have to prove first that the mod caused said part to break. I just put my modded cobra in for a clutch (6K miles) and its been 11s. They cant prove the mods killed the clutch so they warrantied it

Notice that it says, "void warranty?" Nobody can "void" your warranty. Ford will simply deny payment of service to your vehicle. It's just clever wording. I bet Kenne Bell wouldn't pay for your lawyers.
