what is it that you're doing? putting a cobra engine in a GT? or changed heads?(wondering if you can put 4V heads on GT engine)

I think all you need to do a DOHC swap are the heads, cams, intake manifolds, throttle body, and the main wiring harness. Definately worth doing over a PI head swap in my opinion.

dont forget the timing cover too. what did you have done to the intake man.(looks like the bottom was cut off and welded back on?)

Coolness. Is that a couch in your garage? I used to have one, but it was thrown out (afraid it would turn into a mouse house).

That is the best way to port and polish the intake is to cut it and weld it back.

I blew up my 2v and picked up a used 01 4v for cheap. This is the new setup.

2001 Forged Steen Cobra motor (9.5:1)
Some port work on the heads
P&P intake
Vortech SQ, GT impeller 3.125 RR pulley
AFM powerpipe
Pro-M 87mm
50lb injectors
03 Cobra tank/pumps
KB BAP
Hooker LTs
O/R X pipe, magnaflows
Vortech mini race bypass
SCT tune by Ed Clark (soon)
