I delivered a silver coupe to a customer today and I noticed that the shift boot was the same that is on the GT. On my 01 it is a very nice, quality, genuine leather boot. Did they go the cheap route, or is this just a mistake? Please let me know. If this is a mistake, I would like to rectify this for my customer!

I have a 2001 GT Premium Package, and it seems to be a nice quality, leather boot... it seems to be the same as the 03 Cobra pictures I've seen.

My shift boot is a nice leather piece. My '00 GT had a vinyl piece that didn't look all that good. I think your customer got a mistake.
