removing SHELBY lettering from on top of stripes

1) On the rear of the car, the H E L B letters in S H E L B Y are on top of the stripes. any suggestions about how to clean that adhesive residue off of the top of the stripes without scuffing them or at least to keep the scuffing to a very minor degree?

2) I was looking in some old threads and read something about there being 2 holes underneath the Cobra badges on the sides of the car. that's not the case with the '13-'14 is it?

3) Is the Cobra on the grill attached with the same gummy adhesive that the rest of the badging is attached with?

4) Any suggestions for the faux gas cap other than just blacking it out?

thanks for the reply.

my biggest concern is for the lettering removed from on top of vinyl stripes though not really so much about on top of paint

Yea, be carefull around adhesive backed graphics and WD-40. Spay it in a clean rag then use the rag to remove the adhesive.

The cobra on the front does have two pins in it that go through the grille. That I do know. Unsure about side emblems..

The 13's have holes in the front fenders.
