Solid Rear

I can get a used solid GT 8.8 rear for pretty cheap..
What all do I need to do to beef it up a little or will it last with the stock GT rear and 500 hp? What will go first? Will be running DR with it. Thanks for all the reply.

diff will go first if not the axles. Then you might turn an axle tube if they are not welded. Probably rip out a torque box if they are not reinforced too.
