The time has come to part with my 04 Cobra. Ive relocated and it just doesn't make sense to take it with me. I sold 2 of my 3 mustangs last year and looking to part with the 04 now. The car is currently stored just outside of Boise Idaho and is available to be shown to serious buyers. I have had the car since early 2014 and it has always been garage kept in my possession. The car is in excellent condition for its age and grabs attention anywhere it goes, but has also been driven so there is some mild wear on it. When I bought the car it had a KB blower kit on it. The rest of the following mods have all be done under my ownership. Car currently has just over 60K miles on it.
Engine Mods-
VMP 2.3L Blower with 2.8” pulley, 60# injectors, Kenne Bell fuel pump booster, JLT High Boost intake with VMP 3000 MAF, SLP Headers and full exhaust, Oversized heat exchanger and tank. Steeda Idler pulley. On an Old Diablo tune it made just over 600HP at the tires on 91 octane. Last year I did some remote tuning withe Decipha and had him work his magic on it. It runs even better than it did before with excellent street manners. I will include the Quarterhorse, and the jaybird chip writer with the car, and also the old tune which is on a diablo chip. I also have the stock exhaust manifolds, and a catted Bassani mid pipe for them.
Suspension/DriveTrain Mods-
MGW short throw shifter.
Upgraded Front Control Arm Bushings, Steeda X2 Ball Joints, MM Solid steering rack bushings, Steeda Bump steer kit, Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates, Eibach Pro Kit springs with prothane isolators, Upgraded sway bar bushings and end links. MM Full Length subframe connectors, Stifflers jacking rails, web bracing, spider brace and k member brace.
IRS has been upgraded with the ford racing diff cover milled to accommodate the FTBR lowering mount, FTBR lowering mount, MM IRS race kit replaced the rest of the bushings and end links in the rear end. (subframe bushings, upper and lower control arms, sway bar mounts etc. 3.73 rear gears (installed prior to my ownership)
Exterior/Interior
Authentic Saleen Speedster cover
Styling bar with 3rd brake light
10.5” wide replica rear wheels. Toyo R888 tires on all 4 corners. 315 rears. Tons of rubber left on the tires. With the suspension and chassis work and the tires it puts the power down really well. I have the two original OEM rear wheels.
Kenwood Single DIN head unit, Kicker 5 channel amp, alpine component speakers in front, kicker components in the rear, OEM floor mats, OEM convertible boot cover.
Looking for $32,000, serious inquires only.
