I have 36 roof mount panels. Being in the Phoenix area, they get quite dirty. Having a dismal monsoon season hasn't helped.
So, I went to YouTube and watched a lot of videos about cleaning solar panels. In typical fashion, YouTube made it look so easy.
I decided to do this myself and ordered the following items:
While simple, it was a lot of work. The cleaner claimed to be spot-free, but tended to streak. This required a second cleaning with just the brush and filtered water. I still didn't get the clean, glossy finish I was hoping for.
The water filters change color to indicate when they need to be changed and just from cleaning the panels only, the filters need to be changed.
Who has cleaned their own panels or has a job cleaning panels?
