When I pulled the driver 1/2 shaft, I noticed the small black seal/o-ring that's on the small ridge on the splined portion was cut in about a 5mm section.

I want to replace it but, I'm having a dickens of a time finding a suitable sub part # online. I can find M-4413-A, no problem... which isn't what I need.

Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

That is not an o-ring, it's a metal snap ring, which is what retains the splined section into the trac-loc. It is supposed to have that missing section, because it needs to be able to compress below the root of the splined area when being inserted into the housing.

That would make more sense! I just kinda assumed it was an o-ring/seal since I found a little ball of what looked like rubber goo next to it.

Thanks guys!
