will this work on a foxbody mustang 1990..i keep sheering the top flange that holds the starter in place and someone suggested trying one of these starters...also was wondering will it mount right up or do i have to do some modifications? sorry also was wondering i know factory starter bolts have the little locking nuts on them but mine does not could that also be the problem maybe working loose and putting too much torque on it? thanks in advance and sorry for all the questions

yes, you can use that starter, if you're talking about just 94-95 sn95. 92-93 also had the smaller starter. when doing it, you will have to do the wire conversion for that starter. if the starter is coming loose it can cause issues. could you have also over tightened to compensate?
