Export mirrors FTW. I think this style mirror really adds some class. The terminator mirrors will work but the black part hangs down on the SN95’s which I don’t care for.

Grabbed these exports a few years ago for one of the other SN’s but never installed them. Matter a fact I painted them blue along with a bumper for the SLOW2V but never installed them.

sanded, applied etching primer then trim paint.

reassembled and added some double sided tape to fix the shaky mirror syndrome they suffered from.

Before I sold SLOW2V I pulled the sound system. Today it found its new home. The box is molded perfectly to hide in plain sight.

They designed it to use a hole already in the trunk from the factory.

couldn’t mount the amp further back and out of sight due to the factory Mach 460 amps.

Waiting on the spoilers. Then new rear tires and a clutch. I think this car looks best with chrome wheels but I hated the uni-lug on the XXR’s. Wishing I kept the Saleen’s I had on SLOW2V

It looks beautiful! I’ve always loved mystic and mystichrome cobras.

May I ask how much those exports were? And where did you get that sub box??

It looks factory, 12?

Yes, JL Audio W3 12”

I know, it’s a really clean box. The carpet got residue from the Dynamat in another car. I might replace it someday. Wish I could’ve hidden the amp better. The trunk will probably never be seen by anyone outside of this post but it will still drive me nuts...

I want to eventually so something like that but maybe two tens like the Mach 1000 but aftermarket of course

I understand sometimes I can be OCD and it has to be perfect even if I’ll be the only one to see it.

Rear tires on the Mystic were shot and had a big nail. The PO of the FR500’s had NT555 275/40’s on the front and they looked out of place. Instead of replacing all the tires I opted to have the NT555 installed on the rear wheels and new 245/40’s for the front. The rears look small now, but I’ll due for the time being.

The authentic Saleen S281 was in good condition when removed but sat in the car for 2 years. I think the uneven surface in combination with the Vegas heat warped it. Couldn’t get it to sit flush on the edges. I see if it’ll come back to shape with heat, but in the meantime the stocker was installed.

TOB is squeaking on the Mystic. I can’t drive cars that squeak, rattle, etc. attempted to pull the transmission today but the very top bolt is stuck. Socket slipped and rounded the bolt... :grunts:

I tried everything to get the bolt out. Soaked with penetrating oil all night, relived pressure by installing all the other bolts, supported the tail shaft with a jack, tilted the motor back for a more direct angle, multiple socket extractors, 1/2” drive for more torque, 6 point sockets, high quality sockets, smaller sockets hammered on the bolt... nothing! :grunts:

At this point there’s nothing more I can think of. Considering pulling the motor. Too tight to get heat, drill, or angle grinder in there.

It got really ugly before it got better. Pulled the intake manifold and tried to get it from the top. Couldn’t get a box end wrench or socket to bite. Then I tried to cut the head off but didn’t have enough room, so I drilled it from the block valley then hammered an extractor socket on the head and hit it with the impact. To my relief, it finally broke loose.
