Smoothed 99/01 upper!

Deleted egr flange and cast tube that runs on top of intake then welded up holes and smoothed. Also milled off some unnecessary mounting tabs and welded and smoothed the port that comes out of top of intake. Will also post finished pics with it painted.

That looks good. Are you going to powder coat it? How much to do mine? :D

Thanks! I probably won't powder coat at this time but maybe later for sure. I would entertain the idea of doing some for other people if there was some interest. Shoot me a pm if you want.

Looks real nice! Are you running an aftermarket throttle body on it? If so, have you port matched it?

I'm real surprised no one's come out with a fabricated sheet metal upper intake that increases/decreases the plenum volume or uses any other tricks to coax out more power from the factory lower.

I'd buy one in a second with my procharger & BBK twin 65mm TB.
