Smooth and Quiet Power Options

Well I decided Im keeping my 91 Fox.

I always said if I keep her shes getting more power.
This is the thing with me, I want a great fast drivable vehicle.

I don't want the car any louder than what it already is.
I want the car to idle just as quiet and smooth as it is.
I dont care about gas mileage.
I gotta have ice cold A/C.

I was thinking a supercharger.

But I would love instant power like a fuel injected crate 351.

What do you guys think?

MM&FF built a 351 motor (359ci) for a fox, they spent $4000 on the entire build. It had AC, PS, and everything and there biggest restriction was it had to sound, look, idle and drive like stock. They had a set of RHS 200cc hand ported heads on it with a small cam ([email protected] lift, .513lift on all valves with 114degrees of separation). IIRC it laid down around 312whp hp and 365wtq. At the track they ran a 13.06@106mph with the stock 3.73 rear gears. They said with a set of 3.73's it would be a mid 12 sec ride.

If you want something that you cant hear but will give you a solid 400-450hp without swapping the motor then go turbo. You wont hear it unless your in boost, they make more power per psi than a blower, and they are about the same price as the blower kits now.
