Sluggish in low rpms

so i got off the phone with the dealership, and they said that my o2 cheater is screwing with my imrc or somethin like that becuase they looked at the imrc and its able to work fine its just the cheater is screwing with the computer and making it not function porperly.

umm, no

An O2 cheater just sends a signal in place of the O2 sensor, the same signal the O2 would be sending if it was there.

BTW you have an off road pipe and not the cat right?

ya i just had a pipe welded in place of the cat. Thats why i wasnt too concerned about putting that cheater in, i figued it wouldnt do anything but take the check engine light away. It made more sense when he explained it with all that dealership talk, oh well im gonna put a cat back on it anyways and get the o2 replaced just to be safe then see from there.

As I found with my car the IMRC can intermittenly stop working. Your best bet is just to replace it yourself.

CFM now sells an aluminum one that matches the stocker almost exactly.
