Per the instrustions provided with the kit, they say to drain the MC then remove it. However I have read that "drying out" the MC creates big problems when you try to bleed the brakes. Basically, if you dry out the MC, the only way to properly bleed the brakes is to go to a dealership where they can pulsate the ABS. So if you did remove the MC was there any problems when you got everything back together and bleed the lines? Also did you do anything "special" so the MC did not "dry out".

Thanks

I just tilted up the MC and left it full of fluid so I didn't need to go thru all that. It worked fine.

No need to mess with mc! Remove old brake line and install line lock. Bleed both fronts and thats it! Did it hear with no problems! Make sure all the bubbles are out so just do it repeatedly!

I left the fluid in the MC, but bleed it first after the install then all four corners starting at the wheel furthest from the MC. And don't let the MC run dry when you're bleeding the brakes.
