omg this site is so slow, it takes my new comp a long time to laod it and to view some threads, and i have roadrunner and a good connection at work as well, is there any way we can speed things up around here?

Whatever you did this morning, Steve worked well. After the site came back up, it was really slow for a few hours [2 minutes+ to load a page with DSL]. Then the site went bye bye. When it came back it was vroooming along. It changes pages as fast as I can click the buttons. On a related note, is search gone forever or will it be back? Thanks for the work you do with the site, Steve! :beer:

I have been doing alot of work to the database and server trying to make it healthy again. The search feature should be back now, but some other features have died in the process (cannot change avatars, etc etc.) I am slowly getting these things worked out.
