Sliht hesitation when floored

My Shelby seems to hesititate when driving if I step on it. Am I in to high a gear? I have a John Lund Tune and a few mods. If I shift to a lower gear its better just wondering

You should not go full throttle at low RPMs. You should downshift the the appropriate gear that has you in the middle of your power band. This is much easier on many parts of your drive train. Is it possible that your clutch is slipping?

had new clutch put in. I was thinking I needed to downshift to get in the proper RPM range just needed some feedback

New clutch? hope you broke it in properly too....

I had this issue a few years back, and it was an easy fix in the tune for Jon. Just email him. He may have you datalog it, but he'll likely just send a revised file.
