I just installed spec 3+ clutch, the car has 26spline input shaft install new ford racing heavy duty throwout bearing, steel flywheel, it has clutch cable. Installed 2 months ago and now I hear this slight chirp taking off. It only happens taking off from a stop after that its gone.

Have you adjusted the clutch cable to make sure the PP finders aren't riding on the TOB.
This will wear out the TOB in a hurry.
The chirp is usually the the first sign of a TOB starting to go bad.
Unfortunately these cars like to eat them.

I'm thinking about going with a steel flywheel.. What is your impression?

Also, yea, the TB starts to make noise B4 it goes. I have the free play mod and it is easy to install. Unfortunately I installed it way too late and will be doing my TB next week. Considering just swapping the stock clutch (40k miles) and a steel flywheel. I do not drag race, but AutoX regularly..

If you don't drag race stick with the aluminum FW.
It will allow the motor to rev easier due to less mass of the FW to turn.

I went with the steel flywheel its better for the street but I like the fact that you can replace the center instead of the whole flywheel much cheaper. I heard you only gain like 5 hp going with a aluminum? thanks for the input also guys!
