signs of a cracked rotor??

Beside visually (it's dark and raining) what are the signs of a cracked brake rotor.
Coming to work tonight felt a fairly quick vibration (through the peddle) when putting on the brakes.

Well besides cracks... maybe a vibration but i am not sure

I couldn't see any cracks on mine until the rotor was off. Even then I had to look pretty close. The vibration is kinda a tell tell sign. My brakes were slightly vibrating so I took it in. They looked at the everthing, they must have rotated them ever so slightly. The vibration went away, soon after, the slight vibrations turned into violant almost cab shaking stops.

I took the truck in immediately had them changed, all is ok.

i had no vibrations...but my brake noise increased some.
and well...when I took the front passenger side off...it looked like a graham cracker that was dropped on tile (think of the crack structure)

Even with cracks this big I didn't notice until I looked at them. FWIW

miine hasnt cracked like that but i have hair line heat cracks... but you can tell from the rotors being blue in the center of surface the pad rides on
