Side mirror question

Can you get the side mirror glass seperate from the mirror assembly? If so, does any one know how to get it out? Any help is appreciated!

I am not sure but I think you can get some more wiggle room if you remove the painted part from the mount (flat black part) but you have to take the sucker off to get to all of the bolts.

Thank you sir. I did know about the painted part coming off, but I have some scratches on the glass from when it was painted, and I just wanted to replace the glass (if possible). Thanks man, I appreciate it!
