side mirror and tail lights ?

Ok I read the how to for the side mirror replacement bulb for the turn signal, so that seems pretty stright forward. Does anyone have any tips? Lastly VHT for the tail light tint is there a How To? I think it's a can of vht, can clear, 600 800 and 1500 grit sand paper. I need a little help. :bash:
