Just had a Steeda 2.81 installed; SCT tune; NGK TR6 plugs; Fluidyne HE.

Car shuts down up top ~ down low everything runs normal.

Apparently the intercooler pump is shot ~ and the heat caused the computer to shut down cylinders.?.

I am going to replace the pump, but was just wondering if this sounds right, could it be something other than the pump.

Can you see fluid moving around in the IC reservoir? If so, IC pump is fine. Could be spark blowout. What are the plugs gapped at?

No fluid movement -

Not sure what they are gapped at - .32 is what they should be right - if gapped incorrectly, would that cause shutdown (misfiire in all cylinders)?

shuts down? the engine dies and the idiot lights on the dash come on? or do you mean lays down?
little late to the show shelby guy. . . but lays down is probably a more accurate way to describe how the car was protecting itself from meltdown due to the lack of coolant flow.
