OK I am thinking about a adding an oil cooler because I have nothing with TT. I was thinking about an AN adapter off the oil filter mount, run 2 lines to cooler and mount cooler behind the driver vent in the bumper. There are holes built in those plastic side vents on our stock bumper. Maybe add more holes and figure out how to shroud it against the back of the bumper. That's my rough idea but wanted to see what you guys are doing.

My kit that I made up is collecting dust in the living room waiting for me to get off my ass and get it onto the car.

Likely a custom bracket will be needed to mount the cooler in the upper grill. This is going to be a road course car.

I have the Cooltech kit which uses a large Setrab cooler core. It's expensive but it's probably the most complete, highest flowing kit you can buy. Photos are during the install, before I finished securing the hoses.

Figured we would post a pic of the MMR offering, these feature ultra high efficiency coolers and by far the best priced kit on the market at just $499, they also include a new block adapter, not a leak prone "sandwich" adapter that bolts on to the factory oil filter bracket. By eliminating the bulky bracket we free up alot of space for Turbo Piping headers etc, they are also MUCH cleaner! Oil feed are included on both the adapter and Oil filter mount which is great for turbos or aftermarket sensors/gauges.

Thanks for the responses. Yall have giving me more ideas. MMR I am always impressed with your parts. I am thinking about doing something between what Slick and Viking did. If I can fit a more rectangular cooler above my IC I might just go there and make my own lines. I believe shrouding at the lower side vent might be harder and bracketing should be easier above IC if it fits.

I would get a thermostat controlled cooler, unless 20min warm ups are fine with you.:pop:

Taking off your grille isn't really going to help much with oil temps

That's incorrect, cooltech removed their boss grill and dropped oil temps by 15 - 20 degrees. But those have a oil cooler from the factory...

IMO, the issue with the stock Boss oil cooler is that it dumps tons of heat into the radiator. On a road course it becomes an issue as the stock cooling system can't shed the heat quickly enough, especially in higher altitudes. I think this is why the removing the stock grill helps so much. With the air/oil cooler I haven't had an issue even with the grill in place. At least not yet anyway:)
