Try to find a BMW M coupe or M roadster, those are in line with Boxter but little better.

Boxter is not a bad car either but if you dont warannty and something breaks, be ready to pay, A LOT.

I just meant a Boxster isn't really an impressive car. I look at them more as a weekend car for upper/middle class house wives. What are you looking for in a car? Luxury? Performance? Raw power?

Are they known for having problems? Im just kind of looking around, not really in the racing scene anymore but still want a nice sports car. Also maybe impress the females

This is my opinion, the Boxster or a Z is a step in the opposite direction from your Cobra.

The Boxster is laughed at in the Porsche community and is considered to last resort buy.

I got introduced to this way of thinking when I had an Audi S4.

As far as the Z, it seems to be a car for someone 50 and older.

Just my opinion but keep the 99 or upgrade to an 03

My dads buddy has one and had to pay 1k for an oil change. I beleive they have to lift the motor to get to the filter/plug so you get charged a ton of labor cost.

Don't take everything for face value but this is what consumers said about it.
