Should I purchase the extended warranty?

I just purchased my 2007 GT500 with 17k miles. I thought the TOB was going out but the dealer said it was the clutch. Common problem with our cars so I hear. I can get a 3 year 36k mile warranty for $1k. I was wanting to buy the power b package with that but thinking I want insurance on this car by getting the warranty since I will daily it. Thoughts?

By the way the dealer replaced the clutch for free since the tsb recommended it

You'll mod it and void the warranty anyways, clutch has been replaced and that's the main issue with your year.
