Its a long story, but after trying to sell the cobra, and frankly, getting dicked around by just about every buyer, I've decided to keep it. Its been reliable, its fast, it looks pretty good, and its comfortable.

However, the E class is going to be moving on. My parents have expressed interest in purchasing it from me, and that will be the outcome. They will pay slightly above market, and I will do all maintenance for them.

Instead of spending the money on a fun car, I will be upgrading the daily to the following:

Quick rundown:

Its a 2005 S500 4-matic Sport
302bhp V8, 5 speed auto, AWD

It has the designo interior, the AMG bodykit, Distronic cruise, electronic trunk closer, heated/ventilated/dynamic seats, heated/ventilated reclining rear seats, Parktronic, keyless go, etc etc.

Its a fully loaded model with an original sticker of $115k.

The original s-500 is about 75k with 4matic.

The designo package is $11,400.
AMG package is $5900
Distronic cruise (automatically keeps you a certain distance from car in front) $3300
Rear seat package is $3000
Voice recognition is like $2600
Front dynamic seats are like $2600
Parktronic and keyless go are like $2k

So, its got about $35k worth of options.

hard to tell much, but the rear seats are fully adjustable, and are ventilated and heated.

I know all about it. My cobra is black. However, designo is not available with silver (my E is silver). I still like black, and I LOVE the designo interior, so this car is an excellent compromise.

its also a metallic black, so it should hide dirt a tiny bit better than jet black.

by far. I hate the BMW 7 series. Nasty interior, silly Idrive, Meh exterior. Id get an Audi A8 before a 7series.

thanks but no thanks. I don't need the extra power, and I don't like the rougher ride or louder engine/exhaust note.
