After going to the track last week and blowing a 11 second run by .2 seconds missing 4th and coasting through the lights I decided a short shift shifter was in need.

I bought UPR's Blue Thunder, took probably around 40 minutes to install, most people would probably 1/2 that however, but due to my obsessive compulsive meticulous ways :) I would not.

Well the throws are positive, short and the gates are perfect. The shorter throw for me is ergonomically correct.

Overall very pleased with the quality and ease of install.

I am seriously considering either this shifter or the Tri-Ax. I like the cost of the UPR piece, but am worried the quality wont be as good as the Steeda piece. Let us know if you ever miss a shift now!

I don't know, maybe I've been lucky but I haven't missed a shift since installing the MGW handle. Probably Luck, but it feels nice and precise over stock.

I love my UPR shifter, it's quiet too! Excellent quality, it's completely CNC machined.

<----- She loves the shifter too!!!:p
