Who does the best job as far as price and quality...?
(leaning towards Livernois...)

Whats the best compression.. ?
(leaning towards 9:1 .. car will see 15+ lbs when shortblock is installed)

trying to get my ducks in a row so i dont waste 4 grand on a useless short block...

its an 01.. and i plan on going with a stroke kit (why not) & iron block...

advise.. comments.. suggestions... always accepted

if you have teksid block you should build that instead of an iron block it will be just as strong if not stronger and 70 lbs lighter

Look at Pro Line Racing Engines, I race one of thier outlaw motors in my 10.5 ride. Steve Petty & Tom Lynch are Ford racing engine gods! You dont need big cubes on a turbo motor, unless you just like to tell people its big, wasted money I thought. Id go with a 96-98 iron block and heavily ported heads. Also if 15+ is close to 20, I would go with 8.5 comp.Just my $.02
