I wanted to start a thread discussing shop costs. i recently have been quoted for some installs that sounded crazy. May be normal prices. Thats where this thread comes in. please come in and post what shops have charged you for various installs so people know what to expect and dont get screwed. Fire away!

I was quoted on a few things. Have not done them. All sounds a bit high. Maybe not. Lets see! ;-)
$1000 for 4.10 gears
$200 weld subframe connectors
$500 for subframe bushings

Damn thats pretty damn expensive for those parts on just labor alone.

I got a quote for parts and install for built rearend with 4.10's and all fluids for like 1300 or so.

Subframes was about $80.
