Looking for shock recommendations for a stock 2011 Silverado 1500 4x2. It’s a DD that pulls a 2 horse slant nose gooseneck about 10% of the time.

Any and all feedback is welcome, and thanks in advance.

Happy to hear you say Bilsteins as I’ve always believed they build quality stuff.

I have a 2017 Colorado and planned on going with the Bilstein 4600 series. Everyone keeps trying to steer me toward the 5100's but i really dont need the adjustable height. Really only want a monotube that has better damping values which the 4600 provides. Anyone think the 5100's are worth the extra cost if im staying stock height?

There is about a $40 difference between the two. $369 versus $409.

I have the 5100s on the rear of my 15 F150. Had to get them to stop the ass from stepping out on bumps. Made a huge difference and the truck rides a lot better.

Didn't try the 4600 but pretty much everyone says to get the 5100 and the aluminum body looks better to me.
