I see alot of people on here selling used turbos i was wondering how they packaged it for shipping? I am looking to get one shipped and want to make sure nothing is damaged.

When I shipped my blower I used blue painters tape to cover the openings. For packing I used lots of bubble wrap and styrofoam. As well as extra cardboard as support. The buyer never said anything about damage so I'm guessing it made it through ok.

I've shipped turbos using boxes from a large truck shop/ dealership. It's a thicker cardboard box with molded foam inside. Almost exactly how a blower head unit arrives. They gave them to me. Held it perfectly.

If you are that worried have them take it to a UPS or FedEx store and let the store pack it. You might have to cough up a few extra bucks to the seller but when they pack it they are on the hook for any damages that occur in transit (Have the shipper insure it also).
