Is anyone having a slight issue with 1st to 2nd shift? every other shift is perfect, it seems like the throw is too long for the 1-2 shift... is it just me or are others having the same issue?

Is an aftermarket shifter worth it? If so which?

dude when i raced last night i had slight problem with missing 3rd gear a few times... once i even threw it into 5th on accident! i don't have great experience racing though but it seemed very inconvenient!

^^^^ i was street racing and had some issues with 2nd to third i was trying to hard had to slow it down!

happened to me already LOL and it cost me a race with a full bolt on 2v by about a half a car LOL:burn:

i think mine is pedal engagement, because other then that ive NEVER MISSED A GEAR. I think i dont push in enough on the first shift, what happens is i miss 2nd and hit 4th

i upgraded my base shifter to the premium shifter and it helped me out! the base shifter was to thick!

Haven't had any issues here, car shifts like butter, no missed gears yet, even when powershifting 5th.

Just the actual shift knob I'm pretty sure.
