I drive the truck every day. under normal conditions it shifts fine. but under WOT it doesn't shift from 1-2 like it should. it goes from 5 grand to 3 grand like you let off the throttle but it is still pulling. Just don't want to tear up the bands in the trans. there is no firm shift from 1-2. just glides into the next gear. I had the trans rebuilt with kevlar bands about 4-6 months ago and then had it tuned. Would it be in the tune or does it need a shift kit and retuned? I don't know if the tuner upped the pressure in the trans when he was on the computer, but I want to get your opinion on what I should do so I don't have to spend any more money than I have to. Just spent 6 gand on a paint job so im kinda out of green. lol. thanks guys.
