Had a ram clutch installed in my terminator about 2,000 miles ago. It is very difficult to get the car into reverse. It wants to stick most of the time; sometimes it goes in OK.

If I run the engine up to 4,500 RPM in first, and try to shift to second it will hang in first. With a new clutch, you wouldn't think it would be a clutch issue.

Any ideas about why it is balky or what the fix might be?

I have synthetic oil in the transmission.

You need to adjust the clutch. It sounds like its not releasing all the way.
