Shift light install, Ya like?

I kinda read about a similar setup but the light was in the pillar pod, and it was a warning light set up instead of shift light.

Danny at XXTuning came up the idea to put it in the cluster, and I bought the LED's from www.radlights.com. They are custom LED not too bright and not to dim. Something different, and stays away from those monster lights, with the same effect.

Let me know what you guys think.. I love to be different.

The radlights page dont work. So it it basically just a RPM Switch attached to the LED? I would like that on my 96 Cobra! Where did you get the tach signal?

very nice looking, and a cool idea. i'm a big fan of in-dash tachs and discreet shift lights (if any).

i'm still waiting for covan's classic to make a gauge cluster for my car...

only thing is...does it come on at 2k or 2.5k? Why so low RPMS?? shouldnt it be set closer to redline?

Tach signal comes from the MSD Digital 6 and is controlled by a window switch.

The light comes on low in the RPM band because I had a 3000RPM pill in it for testing. It has a 5400 one now..

the 03 cobras have a shift light for better gas mileage in the dash, can you fix it so it'll turn on right before redline instead?
