Hey guys, I have a customer here in service that has had his 2009 GT in to a couple other dealers because his shift lever keeps coming loose and so far no one has been able to solve it.

Anyone here run into an issue like this?

A local speed shop said it was being caused by a vibration somewhere in the driveline but they didn't go any further.

I'm just trying to get the tech pointed in the right direction.

Thanks, Steve

I actually walked down to the shop and checked it out and drove it and the issue has got to be in the clutch/flywheel.

It's a Hurst short throw and it's rifle bolt accurate, it starts to rattle like crazy at about 3000 or so and does it sitting still or in any gear at those revs.

Pretty sure it's no a harmonic balancer, it seems to strong for that.

At this point I'm not sure if it's getting torn down here or at a local speed shop but I'll keep you informed.
