An all aluminum knob can get pretty hot sitting in the sun. Just my observation from using an all aluminum hurst T-Handle. The advantage of leather or wood or even the MGW Gripper is that they don't feel hot or cold to the touch as the weather dictates.

Are you talking about George's "T" handles that he sells? I was wondering about those. Since I live in Phoenix, I didn't want a handle that you couldn't touch after sitting in the sun here for a bit. I like his handles and if they don't get hot like the Hurst, I'm going to buy one!!

Thanks for your information!
