I'm having trouble getting the :cuss: shift knob off my stock shifter to put my tri ax on. Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately I've already ripped the leather trying to get it off. Oh well, I was gonna buy a new one anyway. Thanks, Rob

If you look at the bottom of the shift knob after removing the shift boot from the center consol you will see a "notch" for a wrench. Just pull the boot inside out around the knob and you can't miss it.

Thanks, I read how to do it on focal jet. I've already swapped shifters, and I love the steeda. Now it's time for a new shift knob.

I'm gonna have to say Yes to that one. Rev too low and you bog. Rev to high, the clutch slips. I'm gonna have to say the sweet spot is between 4500 and 5K.
