Had my nearly bone stock 2012 detailed and tinted today in preparation for Shelbyfest 2014 next week. Nothing special, but she's shiny. Not sure why I waited 2 years to get tint (20%). Can't wait to see the final results in a couple days after the film has cured/dried completely.

Work was done by Darring's Detail in Indy. I would recommend them to anybody in the area. Owner, Rod, is a great guy.

Wish more sun would have been out, but traffic was terrible and I got home later than expected. I imagine I'll follow up with day pictures later.

Looks great! I need to get my car tinted too. Had it over 5 years now so I really have no excuse, lol.

No, for a couple hundred dollars, it's too easy to do.

Looks awesome man that black paint really pops now

That it does. Like glass... sucks that the first time I wipe it down, I'll put the swirls right back.

Nah man if you go to a COSTCO, BJ'S or Walmart you can buy a bag of those yellow or red Micor towels through them in the wash first and use those and that will kepp the swirls down along with using spray detailer.

I have several microfibers. That black is just touchy!

What side of Indy is that place? If you were trying to get home between 4:30-6 yesterday it was rediculous. I think the 3 car wreck and flipped car on 465 at Castleton was the issue by me on the north side.

It's at 86th and Ditch. I got on 465 at Meridian and before I could get to Keystone, traffic was backed up. Board said 40 minutes to I70. Got off at Keystone, went back to Meridian, and took 116 East to Olio/Mt. Comfort. 1.5 hour detour.
