First off very excited to be joining he Shelby Mustang family soon!!

I am looking at a 2010 Black Shelby, with 19000 miles.

Flawless...has the electronics upgrade...rear sensors.

Got the dealer to 39000.

Would this be considered a good deal?

Thanks for the help.

I think it's a fair price. I paid a little more than that 10 months ago for mine and it had 17000 on the clock... Take mine with a grain of salt though, cause I bought mine used in Germany so supplies aren't what they are in the states.

3 years old, 20,000 miles... I would try to get them to $37-$38. However, if you feel comfortable spending $39, then pull the trigger. It's not a horrible price, but I think you could get them down a little more.

That said, personally, I wouldn't let a grand or two make me walk away from a car like this that I really wanted (color/options).

Good luck. Post pics!

Agreed.

I think $39k is a fair deal.

I appreciate all the responses...in addition I found (same model-color) for 41687...yet the car only has 3400 miles. Do you think the 2600 dollar difference is worth 15000 fewer miles?

Same electronics/options?

I'd say no for $2600. These cars are quite reliable. The minor mileage difference isn't worth much. I paid $40 flat for my 2010 w/ 14k miles (Sync System, Kona Blue, non-HID) nearly 2 years ago.

IMHO 39k sounds a bit high but not by much 35-37k seems more like it but I also agree with others, if it's the right car 1-2k shouldn't hold you up. There aren't that many GT500's rolling around FS relatively speaking. So if you like it, get it.

I know I sound contradictory but I think you should argue 36 and if you get it great, if not, then doll out 39 and lay the hammer down and enjoy the grin that comes with it. :)

I love mine more than the day I bought it now.

Tell the guy with the 3400 mile car you are looking at another at $39K and you will offer him that. Go for the lower mileage and try to get the price the same.

I got mine for 39500 in June with 19500 miles from ft smith, Ar. But did have 3k mods and 1200 in new better tires. But your price is fair.

Thanks for all the responses. I thought I wanted black with the white stripes until I saw one with black on black. I ended up getting it for 39500 (only 4000 miles) and 13000 for my trade...others were offering 11000.

This one also had the electronics package, HID headlights, Shelby cover...in fact the only option it did not have was the shaker 1000... I am fine with the 500 for now

I agree that you should spend a bit more and get an 11-12 for low 40's. If your patient you can find a good deal. I bought mine last Feb for $43k with 2,800 miles. It's got every option minus the glass top. The 11's are 120 lbs lighter b/c of the aluminum motors. I will say I got a crazy good deal but I bet you can find one.
