my buddy is bout to pickup a shelby gt. we're curious as to what kinda times these things are running? here's a pic of the car

Id say 13.3-13.5 @ 108 or so...
He will end up running a 13.8@102. All they are is a mustang gt with different bumpers.
And they are heavy... 4,300lbs+... I'd say 14+@96...

You mean 3,400lbs. right? I weighed my 2005 GT with aftermarket 18"s (heavier than stock), full interior (spare tire too) and I weighed 3,476lbs. with a full tank of gas.
As far as Shelby GT 1/4 mile times, it would depend on your friends ability to drive. Poor to average driver=low 14's. Okay driver to experienced driver=high to mid 13's. My GT stock with me driving went 13.6 at 10? mph. After mods in sig. I went 12.8.
