Shaved boss manifold cover

Has anyone tried this?? I know one person has, but he isn't active on here anymore sadly. I'm wanting to completely flatten out the cover besides the ford racing part.

The underside of the raised edges are hollow. So it'd have to be filled with something..

I surprised someone hasn't made a carbon fiber smooth version.

I wish! That's pretty much my plan! I'm now looking into getting aluminum shaved insert made. Then having real carbon fiber resin placed over it and clear coated.
