I ended up ordering L&M 9.5 to 1 pistons and boring the FRPP block .020 over after discovering some windows in the cylinder walls with the torque plates bolted down. The pistons are brand new and come with wrist pins, rings, and retainers. These are the newer CJ pistons that JDM helped design......according to the guys at JDM they actually boost the compression ratio a tad as opposed to lowering it like the older style pistons. I also have my original pistons and rods out of my stock motor that are in excellent condition if anybody is interested.
