Servicing the 3.6KB

I have had the KB on for alittle over 4,000 miles and was looking for info on servicing. I tried cracking the "fill plug" but it didnt act like it wanted to budge. I was nervous about boogering it up so i gave up. Any ideas or input? The KB section is a dead area imo so i thought id try here.

I'd check the owners manual. I don't think they need service for a significant amount of miles.

I thought most of pd super charger have 100,000 mile service interval.

I've had mine on for right at 18,000 mile now and the oil still seems fine. I do check it quite often but more so for water contamination. Like Z, I also use a Quarter to to open mine.

I wouldn't worry about it for at least 50k-75k.

100k is for a stock setup per Ford

Yep the slot on the dipstick was designed for use with a screw driver or a quarter. Every 10-12k on the oil. But you should check it at least every oil change.
