I have a 99 Cobra with 88,000 miles. Last night I was driving around normally, and the service engine soon light came on. It also has an occasional slight miss under load. Any ideas what could cause this. Thanks

Go to autozone and get it scanned to find out what the code is. That will determine where to start looking.

The code came up as Misfire on #4. Is this probably a bad spark plug? What spark plugs are recommended? Thanks

get the coil and plug. i would recommend going with the factory replacement plugs of motorcraft. you will not see ANY change in power or anything with aftermarket plugs, unless you are a supercharged.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I put new stock Motorcraft spark plugs in. What a difference!! The old ones looked like they had been in there for quite a while. There is no miss, and the power is back. Thanks again.
